Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to your hotel.
Flight to Cusco the Ancient Capital of the Incas. A guided tour of Cusco will include visit to the inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Quenqo and the Qoricancha temple (Santo Domingo Temple). Dinner and folkloric show in the evening. Overnight accommodation.
At the morning excursion to Urubamba, the sacred Valley of the Incas with a visit to the ancient Inca market of Pisac followed by a trip to the Pisac ruins above the town. Lunch before continue the tour to Ollantaytambo, site of the last undefeated bastion of the Inca Empire. Overnight accommodation.

After an early morning, we will be transfer to Chilca by bus, where we will meet the Quechua porters. Crossing over the turbulent Vilcanota River, with magnificent views of snow capped mountain Veronica (Wacay Willca) 5,900m. We will continue the expedition admiring the Llactapata archaeological side, and stopping at the Wayllabamba River for lunch, we will visit the archaeological sides of Patallacta, Qente, and the valley of Cusichaca and the magical Polylepsis forest. Today the hike will last approximately 7 hours. Campsite and dinner at 3800m. overnight.
Today is one of the most demanding days of the trip as we gain a lot of altitude. We will see outstanding views east to the Huayanay peaks and west into the rugged Vilcabamba range. After the breakfast, we will climb up through the first pass at 4200m. at Warmiwañusqa. Passing three ecological areas such as the Yunga, Quechua and Puna, we will climb 1000m. in 5 hours. Today camp and dinner near Pacaymayu. Overnight
After breakfast, we will trek down through the valley of Pacaymayu to the famous archaeological side of Runquraqay and continue to the second pass and the restored town site of Sayacmarka, and explore the Sayacmarka Ruins. The Inca trail in this section is a white granite roadway, traversing a thickly forested mountainside. Then we will descend to the magnificent archaeological Phuyupatamarka and have lunch. Then we will begin the decent to Wiñaywayna where a visit of the ruins and have dinner will conclude the day.

Early morning wake up at 4:30a.m. for breakfast and to begin the trek to be first at the archaeological side of Machu Picchu for the sunrise. We will descend rapidly from cloud forest into high jungle habitat orchids and hummingbirds are commonly seen along this spectacular section of the trail high above the river. We will arrive at Intipunku (Sun Gate) to observe the sunrise over Machu Picchu from an elevated vantage point. We continue down to the royal road and at last the Lost City of the Incas. A guided tour of the marvelous citadel, after the guided tour you will have your free time then we will take the train back to Cusco. Overnight accommodation.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Puerto Maldonado. Reception and transfer to the Tambopara River port in Puerto Maldonado for the canoe trip to your jungle lodge. After arrival a short orientation and complete briefing on the lodge before visiting a 35 meters scaffolding tower for a spectacular view of the river, the surrounding forest and an opportunity to observe birds from the canopy including parrots, toucans and macaws. Return to the lodge.
Early wake up and dawn for visit to the tres Chimbadas oxblow lake, here we will take a long, easy canoe ride around the lake looking for giant river otters, turtles, hoatzin, and wading birds. Return to the lodge before we continue travel up the Tambopáta River for a further 5 hours into the pristine heart of the recerve. Arrival at the Tambopata research Center, after lunch we will wal the 1.5 mile a trail that is famous for the abundance of rare birds that live exclusively in this habitat and are endemic to southern Perú. It is also the home of the frequently found howler and disky monkeyus.

At dawn we will cross the river and enjoy the world’s largest Macaw clay lick where hundreds of parrots and macaws of up to 15 species congregate daily. You can expect to see ten to twelve members of the parrot’s family. After breakfast we will walk the 105 mile Ocelot Trail, a trail which exemplifies the quintessential rainforest. This trail is the one which most often spots ocelot, puma and jaguar tracks, although any one of these three large cats is extremely difficult to spot. We will return to the Tambopata research Centre for lunch and them embark on a 3 miles walk to the palm swamp, a nesting colony and preferred roods for blue, gold and red-bellied Macaws.overnight accommodation.
After an early breakfast we will return to Puerto Maldonado for our flight back to Lima and transfer to your hotel last night accommodation in Perú, farewell Dinner.
Transfers to the Airport for you return flight home.
