Gastronomic Tours

Cusco is considered by many specialists as the second city of Peru, after Lima, for gastronomy. In this region chefs have incorporate local produce such as quinua, muña and beans into their creations to make some sophisticate dishes.
The main square, the ancient Auqaypata, is the best place to start our gastronomic tour.  Heading the list is the Tunupa Grill and Bar where international food alternates with nouveau-Andean, while diner enjoy folks music shows in the evening.
Another restaurant with a long tradition is the Inka Grill, also on the main square.
But if you have a hearty appetite and want the complete gastronomic experience, go to a picanteria where the local people go and where the helping are enormous and arrive at the table accompanied by refreshing fruit and chicha de jora.
