The second trek often refered to as the High Inca Trail, follows the same route up to the base of Salkantay before turning east across the Inca Chiriasca pass approximately 4900 m. this route them descended via Sisaypampa so where you trek Pampacahuana, an outstanding Inca ruin. The remain of an Inca road them go down to the singular Incas ruin of Paucarcancha also known as Incarajay, Paucarcancha.
