Salkantay trek to Machupicchu Day 01: Cusco - Mollepata - - Soraypampa At 5:00 a.m. we will pick up you from your hotel. We will leave by bus to Mollepata 2 800 m. (9 116 ft.) beautiful scenic journey through Limatambo, stopping for panoramic views of the Apurimac valley, to arrive to Mollepata there we will meet our muleteers and trek staff, here you can have a breakfast, from this place will start our hike to Soraypampa 3 725 m. (12 221 ft.) we will have the lunch. After 4 hours walking we then will arrive to our first campsite Soraypampa overnight.

Salkantay trek to Machupicchu Day 02: Soraypampa - Wayracpampa - Colpany This day we will walk over a high pass at 4 650 m. (15 091 ft.), seeing the snowcapped mountain Salkantay, with the snowcapped mountains Humantay to right side and Tucarhuay on the other side. Once here, we will observe the glacier of Salkantay 6 271 m. (20 574 ft.) and the magnificent view of the fall one of many snow avalanches. Then, we will be passing through some of the most spectacular sceneries in Perú, walking across snowy high passes and we will start descending into the cloud forest, where the vegetation and wild life will become abundant. Camp at Colpany 2 900 m. (9 514 ft.). Overnight.

Salkantay trek to Machupicchu Day 03: Colpany - Playa - Santa Teresa We'll leave from Colpany early after breakfast, at 06:30 a.m. we'll start the trek of the day, through the upper jungle; we'll cross the Lluskamayo River and a variety of the little brooks. We'll pass through valleys and we'll have wonderful views of waterfalls, flora and fauna endemic of the region and tropical fruits. We will stop in Playa (Sahuayaco) 2 250 m. (7 381 ft.) for lunch, and then we will take a small bus for 40 minutes until Santa Teresa 1 900 m. (6 233 ft.), place where we'll have our campsite overnight and then we'll relax us in Cocalmayo thermal baths.

Salkantay trek to Machupicchu Day 04: Santa Teresa - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes After breakfast we'll begin our hike through the Santa teresa Valley to Hydroelectric here will have our Lunch and then will continue to Anguas Calientes havin the majestic view of Machu Picchu and the main sacred mountains of the Incas like Huaynapicchu, and Putucusi including the snowcapped mountain Salkantay 6350m (20637ft.).after 6 hours walking will arrive to Aguas Calientes 1 900 m. (6 233 ft.) overnight.

Salkantay trek to Machupicchu Day 05: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco Very early (5:00 a.m.) we'll have our breakfast, and then we'll to catch the first bus to the Machu Picchu Citadel. After your ticket has been purchased we'll start the tour in the citadel for about three hours. After that, you'll have free time. Optionally: you could climb the mountain Huaynapicchu and visit the different sites recommended by our guide, such as Inti Punku, Machu Picchu Mountains. Finally, we'll return by train to the town of Ollantaytambo and then by bus to Cusco.
