We will pick up you from your hotel to Ollantaytambo from here we will take the train to the Km. 104. We will commence our hike by crossing a hanging bridge over the Urubamba River to approach the small but interesting Inca archaeological complex of Chachabamba ruins. After a visit of this site we will begin a four hours ascent to the ruins of Wiñay Wayna 2700m. an important Inca spiritual side, and one of the finest of all Inca ruins. At this point the trail joins with the main Inca Trail. From here we will be walking on Inca trail. The Inca trail cuts across the ridge above Machu Picchu to finally reach Intipunku or Sun Gate, from here the trail is downhill (30 minutes) into the lost citadel of Machu Picchu at 2450m. We will take a bus to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town) hostel accommodation, and then we will visit the thermal baths.
