Island of Uros and Taquile full day
In this one-day tour you will visit the islands of the Uros and Taquile Island, are two of the most important islands of Lake Titicaca in the part of Peru, both with much history and living culture, declared by UNESCO as "Heritage Cultural of the Humanity ".
We will see important activities such as spinning, weaving, fishing and hunting. The people of these islands begin to learn from the age of 8, the ancestral costumes currently used by the inhabitants of both islands, show different iconographies, especially women in their dresses show the beauty of the Altiplano woman.
Pick up from the hotel in Puno at 6:45 am to head for the port of Puno to take our boat that will take us to Isla de los Uros, where we will visit two islands and families, we will see their customs and how these islands were made.
Then we will leave in our boat for a trip by Lake Titicaca approximately 3 hours until arriving at the Island of Taquile, having a panoramic view and entering the town, we will also visit the main Plaza.
Then we will have some free time before lunch overlooking Lake Titicaca. Return to the boat and we will go back to the Port of Puno approx. 14:30 pm, transfer to the hotel.
