Our bike route starts with a descent from the highlands down through vast Peruvian plains and gradually connects with exuberant vegetation of the tropical jungle and cloud forest. After our bike ride to the jungle, we’ll raft down the Manu River to observe the Macaw clay lick.

Day 1: Cusco – Paucartambo – San Pedro – Pilcopata
At 8:00am we will pick you up from your hotel. Then we will begin our journey by private bus to Paucartambo and will cross the high pass located at 4,800m (15,840 ft). we will continue driving to Ninamarca archaeological site and we will visit, From here we will begin our bicycle descent until we reach the town of Paucartambo, here we will have time to walk around this colonial and beautiful town, after it we will continue driving until Ajanaco (3,500m / 11,550 ft) high pass where is the view point and the gate of the Manu National park, in this place we will have the lunch relaxing with the view and continue driving for about 40 minutes and we will restart the mountain bike enterin to the cloud forest and cross the San Pedro small village where we’ll see the national bird of Peru, the “Gallito de las Rocas” (Cock of the Rock – Rupicola peruviana), after 2 hours biking we will back to the van and continue drivind to Pilcopata village where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Pilcopata – Atalaya – Pusharo
After breakfast, drive to the border of the river for about 15 minutes and in there we will receive the rafting equipment and the safety instructions for this amazing activity, along the river will see some flora and fauna until Atalaya where the transportation will wait for us and transport back to Pilcopata to have the lunch and after the lunch we will go to visit the comunity of Pusharo where there are some pretroglyphs, after this visit we will have the dinner and backto Pilcopata spend thenight.

Day 3: Pillcopata – San Pedro – Paucartambo – Cusco
After the breakfast we will start the to drive back to Cusco for about 5 hours along the way we will have some stops in the view points and we will have the Lunch in Saylla where you can choose a typical Cusco dish for lunch, then weill continue driving 40 minutes and we will arrive to Cusco

Will I have altitude sickness in the Mountain bike Tour Manu Park?
This tour is 90% downhill and 10% flat, so it is very difficult to have altitude sickness since not much physical effort is made, so that the body do not needs more oxygen than normal.
Is it necessary to have vaccines to be able to do the Mountain bike Tour Manu Park?
The bicycle tour is through the cultural area of Manu and you do not enter the reserve for that reason it is not necessary to have the different vaccines, but if you want but to go inside inside the reserve it is recommended to have the vaccines for yellow fever and take a minimum tour of 5 to 6 days.
Do I need to have experience to do the mountain bike Tour Manu Park?
In this tour it is not necessary to have experience or be an expert on the bicycle, you only need to know how to handle the bicycle and have the desire to spend 3 days of adventure through the jungle combining bicycle ride, rafting and nature.
If I don’t want to go cycling or rafting, I won’t be able to take the Mountain bike Tour Manu National Park?
Do not worry if you can not do one of the two activities, the transport that we take will be with us the three days so you could continue in the Van in the sections that you think you can not ride the bicycle, and for the rafting the Van will go to the Atalaya port to pick us up finishing the Rafting and you can go in the Van.
