Peru Highlands: Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca , Colca Canyon and Arequipa
The best Peru tours need to include a long trip around the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca (3,812m), and other Andean sites in Peru. Here you will find high altitude wildlife, rural people and their animals, all living quietly apart from the turmoil of the modern world. We’ll travel through the Sacred Valley to arrive at Machu Picchu and its ancient ruins.
Then we will journey south to reach the Colca Canyon, the second deepest in the world. Many portions of the canyon are inhabited, with terraced, pre-Colombian fields that still support agriculture and human life. The Colca Canyon is also home to the largest flying terrestrial bird in the world, the Condor. Our Peru Highland Tour is great option to discover these must-see places!.
